Guild update! Must read!

We had an officer meeting last night regarding some changes to the guild. To inform you all, here is the list of changes that we want to make to the guild, to prepare the guild for 25 mans.


Class leaders
We will soon be interviewing people to be class leaders. These people will decide who goes on raids, takes care of notes, checking who needs what, make sure everyone has the mods they need.

Raid leaders (Heal/Tank/Dps)
We will also start assigning raid leaders. This will consist of people monitoring their respective raid roles. (Example: A Heal Raid Leader will decide who heals who in a raid, if certain should be assigned on removing poisons, and so on.) These raid leaders will also decide loot priority based on the loot tables on http://www.wow-loot.com/

Notes
From now on, the normal notes will contain your raid role. The only time this will contain a second spec, is when your second spec is also geared for your current rank.

Recruitment
There will now be a minimum requirement of level 70 to join the guild. We will also require Ventrilo and a microphone on raids.We are also deciding if we should do recruitment through the forums.

DKP
When we're moving to 25 mans, we'll start using a DKP system. This system is being thought out as we speak, so more information of this will be given out when it is ready.

Officer Forum
We have an officer forum now, called the Champions Hall. Only Champion and higher have access to this forum.

Raid Times
We will now use the set raid times of:
Monday: 19:00-23:00
Tuesday: 19:00-23:00
Wednesday: 19:00-23:00
Thursday: 19:00-23:00
Friday: 19:00-01:00
Saturday: 19:00-01:00
Sunday: 19:00-23:00

AFK Timers
There will be a maximum AFK time of 10 minutes, unless told before the raid starts. After every wing, we'll have a 5 minute smoke/toilet break.

25 Mans/2x 10 Man groups
There will be 2 raid leaders in each group for 10 man atleast. No achievements required for 25 man Naxx, gear requirement will be decided by your class leader. Raid leaders will get cooking up for feasts.

Kick offliners after X amount of days
We're purging the guild of inactive players. Starting from this day, people who aren't on for more then 21 days, will be kicked. In a few weeks we'll move this time to 14 days. This could get even shorter.

Raid progression
For new encounters, we will only take the raid leaders/top geared people to get used to the strategies. For old encounters, we will take less geared people combined with good geared ones to gear up.

Guild bank
People will no longer be allowed to take items for off specs, since they can use their main spec to gear their off spec. Taking items from the guild bank should be requested to a champion or higher first. Some items will be put on the AH to get more guild bank tabs.

Removing VoA from raids
We will no longer plan VoA with the guild. This is because it is way too hard to plan if we don't know that we will have WG or not.

Does this makes us a hard core raiding guild?

Well we're just working our way up in raids. We want to move on to 25 mans, but without a more serious approach, we won't get far.

About Voa, there are not going to be on the calendar, but will runs be organised spontanious or do they have to be pugged. Without the achievement, pugging it is going to be hard these days.

VoA guild runs will happen every week. It's just hard to plan a day, but the time should be like any other guild run, between 7PM and 11PM server time, as long has we have Wintergrasp.
