I'd prefer staying Ret, but if a tank is needed now and then i am ofc more than willing spec spec prot for the needed situation

Well you'll need to work on your gear a bit, as we don't plan to have any guild raids in Naxx10 any more (but still if any one in guild is interested you can assemble one) so it will be hard to jump form greenies to Naxx25 or Ulduar (10/25).
About retribution or protection I would say prot better but after all its your choice
